Tour of Bear Hill, Terra Bella, Heritage Hill homes for sale in Windham NH, with stops at a farm, the town beach, and a seafood restaurant.
A hailstorm forced cars to pull over on the same route on May 10th, and within minutes ice cubes carpeted the grass. A lightning bolt crashed nearby, destroying a million dollar home on Timberlane Rd in West Windham.

A) On a peaceful day this excursion may start at Dunkin Donuts between the two lanes of I93. With your latte in hand, turn right onto Rt111A at the Applewood Golflinks driving range and cruise by the Windham Inn restaurant near Canobie Lake.

B) As you duck under I93, slow down to see the kids playing at Griffin Park; a recently created playground with skate park, tennis, basketball and football fields. Next door on Range Rd hop in to Johnson’s Highland Farm. Are you ready to add some ice cream to the splurge?
C) This scenic route runs between the two lakes to the town beach on Cobbetts Pond. On a hot summer day toddlers are playing in the sand, teenagers are swimming in the shallow waters as boaters paddle by.
Following the winding road around the lake, the smell of freshly prepared seafood tempts you at Lobster Tail, a landmark restaurant.
D) Wiggle onto Westchester at the intersection with South Lowell Rd and you arrive to a new construction home on Bear Hill. While you spin around the cul-de-sac, notice the serene setting and privacy of this property.

E) Boston is about 35 miles from Windham. Would you believe that you can see all the way to the Hancock and Prudential towers? To admire the vista, drive to Burnham Rd: turn right at the Terra Bella sign and follow the newly paved road all the way to the top. On a clear day you can spy the Boston skyline from the exclusive 2-3 acre building lots of custom homes.

F) Do you appreciate the architecture of million dollar homes? Turn right at the end of Bear Hill Rd and climb Heritage Hill. On the hilltop feast your eyes on the most expensive luxury real estate in Windham.

At the rotary switch to Timberlane Rd, the house destroyed by the fire is now being rebuilt, an even more splendid home will demonstrate the owners’ resilience.
Bonus run:
If you feel like driving a little more after this 5.6-mile tour, roll down Heritage Hill to South Lowell Rd and explore the Golden Brook middle school.
